About Me
Welcome to my webpage! My name is Rachel Kaintz and I am currently a senior at South Western High School. South Western High School is located in Hanover, Pennsylvania, and is ranked as one of the best schools in the county and state. This webpage is designed to display some aspects of my high school career. By taking challenging courses in the STEM field throughout high school, engaging in work related to engineering, and completing projects that utilize the engineering process, I will be prepared to pursue my aspiration to become an environmental engineer.
Outside of academics, I am involved in PMEA district band, concert and symphonic band, women's and concert choir, marching band, and pit orchestra in addition to being a member of Tri-M Music Honors Society. I am also lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania Key Club and am involved in the National Honor Society. I have also founded a club, INSPIRE, which provides high school students the opportunity to lead or help with a club of their choosing at the four elementary schools within the school district. Additionally, I have served as the president of the Technology Student Association (TSA) for the last two years and have been a state finalist four different years at the Pennsylvania State Conference.
